Arrive and settle into a private room or your own rustic cabin. Meet fellow retreatants over a southern fish fry at sunset on the river, worship in the chapel — and then silence begins.
For the next two days you rest in a monastic rhythm: short guided sessions, then long unhurried space to walk, pray, journal, and listen. On the final afternoon, we break silence together.

In the 1800s, Como Landing was a commercial port surrounded by a thriving village — a schoolhouse, a commissary, a church, a post office, a railroad station, and twenty-two houses. Paddle wheelers stopped for fuel and mail; farmers from the Tunica Hills brought crops to ship downriver.
Steamboats gave way to rail, and rail gave way to trucking, and the little town faded from existence. What stands here now is not a restored house but a restored settlement, and a place of gathering again.
