Como Retreat is located just north of St. Francisville, Louisiana, in West Feliciana Parish. We offer silent retreats for men and women.
Restored, and set apart
Como Retreat encompasses the restoration of an old riverboat town. It consists of a Library, 15 guest cabins, a recently restored 1890s home, a chapel, a blacksmith shop on the river, and a kitchen.

Pastor Daniel Dyer
With a heart for introducing children and adults to the transforming love of Jesus Christ, Pastor Daniel Dyer has been entrusted with the spiritual formation of thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. A Louisiana native, he has walked with God for thirty years through a particular call to Christian ministry in Honduras.
The 10 Stepping Stones to a Closer Relationship with Christ — a curriculum created exclusively for Como Retreat — guide guests through their retreat experience. These ten Biblically based stepping stones explore Christ's divinity and humanity and what that means for us; the role of the Holy Spirit; how to converse with God and live in His truth; focusing on the present; spiritual disciplines; and more.
Pastor Daniel brings over 30 years' experience in ministry development to Como. He served as Country Director for Friends of the Americas, founded the Family Prayer Discipleship Training Centers and Prisoners of Hope International, and was appointed Honduras Country Director for Children's Cup in 2014. He is Senior Pastor of Casa de Oración Familiar in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he has supported fifteen church plants.
