Women's Silent Retreat

What to expect
Once you've made the slow country drive down the 4.5-mile gravel road, where you will have left your troubles and worries behind, you will be primed for an exceptional experience — a time to quiet the "white noise" of modern life and focus on the gift of sacred tranquility.
Over three days you'll walk a spiritual path shaped by this retreat's curriculum — Set Apart: Daily Living in a Fallen World — resting in the silent flow of a monastic atmosphere.
Your stay includes
- A private room in the restored 1890 home, or your own private rustic guest cabin
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner, with coffee and snacks in between
- Guided devotionals, worship in the chapel, and daily instruction
- Access to hiking trails, the Library, the chapel, and the blacksmith shop on the banks of the Mississippi River
Cost and deposit
The cost of your three-day stay, with all meals included, is $450. A 50% deposit of $225 is due at registration. The remaining balance is due 10 days before your retreat begins.
The deposit is nonrefundable, but transferable to another retreat date.
When you register, you'll pay the deposit through PayPal as the second step, and Como will follow up personally to confirm your place.
The retreat cost is not tax-deductible, since it covers your stay and meals. Anything you give above the cost is a gift to Como and is tax-deductible as allowed by law.
If cost is a barrier, our scholarship fund exists for you — every application is reviewed with care and confidentiality. No one is turned away from a retreat because of cost.
